How to Dip Your Way to a French Manicure

LOVE DIP POWDER BUT UNSURE WHETHER YOU CAN STILL GET YOUR FAVORITE FRENCH MANICURED LOOK? WE HAVE GREAT NEWS: YOU CAN!

Step by step instructions:

Starting Pro Tips:

Powders may settle or become dense sitting overtime & can create uneven dipping results. For seamless dipping, loosen powders by shaking jars while closed or stir with a clean utensil prior to use.

Step 1: Prep nails

Cut and shape your nails to your liking. Buff to remove the shine (natural oils). Wash your hands.

Step 2: Apply a coat of base to the to surface of the nail, stroking outwards towards the tip

Avoid getting the product on your cuticles. Powder will pick up wherever base is applied.

Step 3:Quickly dip the tip of your nails at a 45-degree angle into white dipping powder, creating a French tip smile line.

The deeper the nail is dipped, the thicker the white smile line becomes.

Step 4:Hold finger straight down and tap gently to rid of any loose white dipping powder. Quickly dip the remaining wet nail plate into your choice of pink dipping powder.

Step 5: Hold finger straight down and use a clean brush to gently remove excess powder from around the nail plate & nail surface.

Step 6: Repeat steps 2-5 for more coverage

Step 7: Apply a coat of Activator to harden the blend of powder & liquid.

Wait two minutes for the activator to dry completely.

Step 8: Use a buffer to even out the preferred thickness of the nail and smooth the surface.

Step 9: Wash hands and nails thoroughly

Step 10: Apply top coat and allow 3 minutes to air dry.  Apply another layer of top coat and allow 3 minutes to air dry.

Voila! You’ve got a French manicure that will last for several weeks. Enjoy!
